The Mediterranean Store (Libya) is the sole distributor of Maxamara Products, an Italian Company who produces signature women's wear.

The store was established last May 11, 2002 and has been making extensive advertisement for Maxamara ever since.

During its launching, several women who belong to the elite society and wives of government officials; graced the occasion.

To boost the market with Maxamara products, Mediterranean Store (Libya) made personalized items with Maxamara motif. Like  lighters, watches, pen, and calendars.  Aside from this, it had Maxamara  published in the Libyan Yellow Page.

In summer 2003, the Meditarrenean Store (Libya) in cooperation with the Libyan Family Association, held a fashion show at Shiati Hotel.  This occasion was highly recognized as such it has attained critical review from known reporters of Arabic magazine and Libyan magazine.   Now it has plan to hold another fashion show at Corinthian Palace Hotel as a sequel for this well acclaimed affair.

Another activities of Meditarrenean Store (Libya) to propel Maxamara, are its joining two fairs.  First in the Tripoli International Fair and the other, in Corinthian Palace Hotel.

In all these undertakings,  Meditarrenean Store (Libya) had spent more than 17,000.00 €.  It has requested Maxamara to give its share, unfortunately it did not extend its assistance in all the activities of Meditarrenean Store (Libya).  For this  reason, Meditarrenean Store (Libya) will close  and putting to an end to any commercial advertisement for Maxamara.
